Double standard

time flies weekend is over n that's 4th week of school for me.....
met up with some frens to celebrate qw's belated birthday on sunday afternoon (we felt guilty for not turning up for his 21st bday chalet celebration so muz make up mah) anyway it was the usual gang except one of them said he had tutorial to rush so won't be coming down..... ppl engine k very busy but the point is there's an irony.........
how is it that when u're busy it's ok to miss our 'outing' while when somebody else misses it, it's not ok he's not brother enough...... how come ur standard dosen't apply to urself but others only....... ok maybe it's a different event - fren's commissioning more impt then bday celebration but how do u measure that? y kick up a big fuss when a fren dosen't turn up for something becos he's busy then the next moment u don't turn up becos u're busy..... it really baffles me...... but i guess it's always like that isn't it... it's ok for me to do it but not ok for somebody else to do the same thing cos i have my reasons, our own reasons are always more important n more justifiable then others rite? but who am i to judge everybody does make their own decisions for whatever reasons they have.... haha maybe i also did the same thing but at least i didn't kick up a big fuss when somebody dosen't turn up k (do tell me if i did) unless it's my bday or something. I guess everyone does have double standard, it's just that this time it was quite apparent to me that's all.
